Running a powerful 1GHz TI Sitara AM3359 ARM Cortex A8 processor with 512MB RAM and 2GB on board eMMC is surely an ultimate development tool for an electronics hobbyist/professional like me 😉 .

One of the most fascinating thing like about the board is whatever code you write on a linux machine(I mean x86 machine) can be easily cross compiled and deployed on this awesome board.

Having fun with the Raspberry Pi ,the most awesome creation by engineers in the world of space constrained level computing machines.Yeah,I really get amazed seeing these humpty-dumpty boards which have amazing potentials coming at unbelievable prices. This board initially targeted to teach students and to make available computing deeds to the ones who can’t afford high priced desktops/laptops is nearly now in the reach of every electronics/computer lover/passionate/hobbyist/professional.

I have some questions like what does it takes to develop/design even more cheaper and cost effective computing board than this.What hardware to choose,what peripheral set,bus topology,what architecture to go for,what vendor to choose from,what linux version to go for,and a whole set of questions i can pour in here!!,and do we way any board like this designed in INDIA??
